Lesser spotted..................

Our garden backs on to a large open green with lots of trees so we often get wild birds visiting......this little chap was only brave enough to venture to the large ash tree just beyond the fence..... I had to put the camera on full zoom!

The conservatory is where I choose to sit to do most of my knitting, which means I can also keep an eye on our Ducks & Chickens......you never know when Mr Fox may be lurking!
They are none too impressed however when they have to bath in a bowl instead of their pond.....

Back & sleeves are now complete on my current order........best get back to it now......see you soon.....

Another Frosty Day!

I've woken up today to another sharp frosty morning...................just love morning's like this! However, not so good for our Duck's as their pond is frozen, we have to sort them out with a large bowl of water so they can tend to their feathers.

As yet I have not managed any knitting or crochet today but I have been to the Post Office to send off my latest order and I've made Lasagne for tea..............vegetarian style!

I have been working on my blanket in the last week or so in amongst Christmas etc..........you can find the details here http://attic24.typepad.com/weblog/cosy-stripe-blanket.html  I am using the same colours and sequence and working on it when I can......it is very addictive! although I have to confess I have also started on another order........this time an Aran jacket age 2-3.

Mmmm! I wonder which project will keep me busy this evening?

About Time!

Hello Everyone,
I thought it was about time that I created a blog for all my yarny adventures with a little of what makes me tick thrown in for good measure!

Those that already know me will be aware that I no longer dabble in papercraft but instead have returned to my roots as an avid knitter! I have also taught myself to crochet over the last few years too and I can successfully read a pattern which pleases me a lot (big smile!)

I hope to update regularly with what I've been up to............see you soon!
